Popular actor Antônio Fagundes (Gabriela, Irrational Heart, Terra Nostra, ...) has always liked to keep a bit of himself hidden from view. At 75th birthday, he remains a man of many facets.

Fagundes, a cultural icon

Born Antônio da Silva Fagundes Filho in Rio de Janeiro on April 18, 1949, his career spans an arc over many different eras and tastes in Brazilian history. Fagundes' not just a great actor, he's an inspiration, an icon and a successful business man. At this point in his career, there seems to be little Antônio hasn't done.
