Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ashanti, 43, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Foolish or What's Luv? really single again?

Ashanti spotted alone

A fan spotted Ashanti walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 16, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ashanti back on the market?

A rep for Ashanti was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (April 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
