It has been exactly 4 long years since Cream drummer Ginger Baker died in Canterbury on November 6, 2019 at the age of 80. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed musicians of his generation.

Today, fans of Ginger Baker along with the rest of the music world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Born in London on August 19, 1939, Ginger Baker's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in British history. Baker was not just a great musician, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
