Remembering Jean-Marc Thibault on the 6th Anniversary of his death

It has been exactly 6 long years since Jean-Marc Thibault died in Marseille on May 28, 2017 at the age of 93. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Today, fans of Jean-Marc Thibault (Vidocq, Les Baratineurs, Every Second Counts, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Thibault, a cultural icon

Born in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux on August 24, 1923, Jean-Marc Thibault's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Thibault was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1956 he touched the hearts of millions as Robert Simonet in ‘Every Second Counts’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been 6 years since the tragic loss of Jean-Marc Thibault and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Jean-Marc Thibault is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
