Remembering Jean-Pierre Bacri, 3 Years Later

It has been exactly 3 long years since Jean-Pierre Bacri died in Paris on January 18, 2021 at the age of 69. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Today, fans of Jean-Pierre Bacri (Look at Me, The Taste of Others, Didier, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Bacri, a cultural icon

Born in Castiglione on May 24, 1951, Jean-Pierre Bacri's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Bacri was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 2004 he touched the hearts of millions as Étienne Cassard in ‘Look at Me’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been 3 years since the tragic loss of Jean-Pierre Bacri and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Jean-Pierre Bacri is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
