Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Katarina Witt, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the Twice Olympic figure skating champion really single again?

Witt spotted alone

A fan spotted Katarina Witt walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 14, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Katarina back on the market?

A rep for Katarina Witt was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the athlete was splitting hit the internet Monday (April 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
