Remembering Michel Bouquet, 2 Years Later

It has been exactly 2 long years since Michel Bouquet died in Paris on April 13, 2022 at the age of 96. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Today, fans of Michel Bouquet (How I Killed My Father, Les Misérables, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Bouquet, a cultural icon

Born in Paris on November 6, 1925, Michel Bouquet's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Bouquet was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1982 he touched the hearts of millions as Javert in ‘Les Misérables’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been 2 years since the tragic loss of Michel Bouquet and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Michel Bouquet is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
