When A Thousand Days' Promise came to an end after 1 year in December 2011, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Park Ji-hyung (Kim Rae-won) and Lee Seo-yeon (Soo Ae). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.

Would an A Thousand Days' Promise reunion disappoint people?

A Thousand Days' Promise aired from 2011-2011 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Kim said he's not sure if A Thousand Days' Promise would work today. “I don't want to see old Park Ji-hyung,” he told a journalist (Kim turned 43 in March). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added.

In a recent interview, Soo Ae said she can't imagine an A Thousand Days' Promise reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”

Co-star Kim Rae-won has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did an A Thousand Days' Promise movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
