In a recent interview, Alexis Denisof (who played Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in 1999) said he can't imagine a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”

Co-star David Boreanaz (who played Angel) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”

On the subject of whether there could be a Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, Alyson Hannigan stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
