Rumors of a Cuidado con el ángel reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Thursday (November 21) as reports claimed that Canal de las Estrellas confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

When Cuidado con el ángel came to an end after 1 year in March 2009, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to their favorite sitcom characters. And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.

Cuidado con el ángel aired from 2008-2009 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules.

In a recent interview, Maite Perroni (who played María de Jesús Velarde Santos de San Román/Lirio/Alejandra Robles) said she can't imagine a Cuidado con el ángel reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star William Levy (who played Juan Miguel San Roman Bustos/Pablo Cisneros) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Cuidado con el ángel movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
