Rumors of a How to Get Away with Murder reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Saturday (April 4) as reports claimed that producers confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2027.

When How to Get Away with Murder came to an end after 6 years in May 2020, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Detective Nate Lahey (Billy Brown), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) and Professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.

Would a How to Get Away with Murder reunion disappoint people?

How to Get Away with Murder aired from 2014-2020 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Davis said she's not sure if How to Get Away with Murder would work today. “I don't want to see old Professor Annalise Keating,” she told a journalist (Davis turned 60 in August). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” she added.

On the subject of whether there could be a How to Get Away with Murder film, Katie Findlay stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
