‘I Didn't Do It’ Reunion 2025 — Is It Happening?

Rumors of a I Didn't Do It reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Thursday (April 25) as reports claimed that Disney Channel confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

Can you believe it's been 10 years since I Didn't Do It first aired?! (10 years, 3 months, 9 days to be exact.)

Why in the world did I Didn't Do It end?

When I Didn't Do It came to an end after 2 years in October 2015, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Logan Watson (Austin North), Lindy Watson (Olivia Holt), Sherri (Peyton List), Jasmine Kang (Piper Curda) and Delia Delfano (Sarah Gilman). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.

Would an I Didn't Do It reunion disappoint people?

I Didn't Do It aired from 2014-2015 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Curda said she's not sure if I Didn't Do It would work today. “I don't want to see old Jasmine Kang,” she told a journalist (Curda turned 26 in August). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” she added.

Still hoping for an I Didn't Do It movie?

In a recent interview, Peyton List said she can't imagine an I Didn't Do It reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”

Co-star Austin North has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did an I Didn't Do It movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”

On the subject of whether there could be an I Didn't Do It film, Sarah Gilman stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”

What about an I Didn't Do It reboot?

Recasting I Didn't Do It for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.

Be it in the form of an I Didn't Do It reunion, an I Didn't Do It movie, or an I Didn't Do It reboot, if you had to start filming today, who would you cast in what role?
