Rumors of a One Life to Live reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Tuesday (April 23) as reports claimed that ABC/Hulu confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

Why in the world did One Life to Live end?
When One Life to Live came to an end after 46 years in August 2013, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to their favorite sitcom characters. And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.
Would an One Life to Live reunion disappoint people?
One Life to Live aired from 1968-2013 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules.
Still hoping for an One Life to Live movie?
In a recent interview, Melissa Fumero (who played Adriana Cramer between 1998 and 2011) said she can't imagine an One Life to Live reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star Judith Light (who played Karen Wolek between 1977 and 1983) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did an One Life to Live movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
On the subject of whether there could be an One Life to Live film, Sherri Saum stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
What about an One Life to Live reboot?
Recasting One Life to Live for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.
