Would a Parks and Recreation reunion disappoint people?
Parks and Recreation aired from 2009-2015 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Offerman said he's not sure if Parks and Recreation would work today. “I don't want to see old Ron Swanson,” he told a journalist (Offerman turned 55 in June). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added.

Co-star Billy Eichner (who played Craig Middlebrooks between 2009 and 2015) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Parks and Recreation movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
On the subject of whether there could be a Parks and Recreation film, Aziz Ansari stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
What about a Parks and Recreation reboot?
Recasting Parks and Recreation for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.
