Rumors of a Physics or Chemistry reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Thursday (April 18) as reports claimed that Antena 3 confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

Can you believe it's been 16 years since Physics or Chemistry first aired?! (16 years, 2 months, 15 days to be exact.)
Why in the world did Physics or Chemistry end?
When Physics or Chemistry came to an end after 4 years in June 2011, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Olimpia Díaz Centeno (Ana Milán), Yoli (Andrea Duro), Paula Blasco (Angy Fernández) and Fer (Javier Calvo). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.
Would a Physics or Chemistry reunion disappoint people?
Physics or Chemistry aired from 2008-2011 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Fernández said she's not sure if Physics or Chemistry would work today. “I don't want to see old Paula Blasco,” she told a journalist (Fernández turned 33 in September). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” she added.
Still hoping for a Physics or Chemistry movie?
In a recent interview, Javier Calvo said he can't imagine a Physics or Chemistry reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star Adam Jezierski (who played Gorka Martínez) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Physics or Chemistry movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
On the subject of whether there could be a Physics or Chemistry film, Ana Milán stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
What about a Physics or Chemistry reboot?
Recasting Physics or Chemistry for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.
Be it in the form of a Physics or Chemistry reunion, a Physics or Chemistry movie, or a Physics or Chemistry reboot, if you had to start filming today, who would you cast in what role?
