‘Suits’ Reunion 2027 — Is It Happening?

Rumors of a Suits reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Monday (April 13) as reports claimed that USA Network confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2027.

Can you believe it's been 14 years since Suits first aired?! (14 years, 9 months, 22 days to be exact.)
Why in the world did Suits end?
When Suits came to an end after 9 years in September 2019, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.
Would a Suits reunion disappoint people?
Suits aired from 2011-2019 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Macht said he's not sure if Suits would work today. “I don't want to see old Harvey Specter,” he told a journalist (Macht turned 54 in January). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added.
Still hoping for a Suits movie?
In a recent interview, Neal McDonough (who played Sean Cahill between 2014 and 2016) said he can't imagine a Suits reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star Gary Cole (who played Cameron Dennis between 2011 and 2016) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Suits movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
On the subject of whether there could be a Suits film, Patrick J. Adams stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
What about a Suits reboot?
Recasting Suits for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.
Be it in the form of a Suits reunion, a Suits movie, or a Suits reboot, if you had to start filming today, who would you cast in what role?
