Rumors of a the Steve Harvey Show reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Monday (November 4) as reports claimed that The WB confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

Why in the world did the Steve Harvey Show end?
When the Steve Harvey Show came to an end after 6 years in February 2002, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Steve Hightower (Steve Harvey). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.
Would a Steve Harvey Show reunion disappoint people?
The Steve Harvey Show aired from 1996-2002 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Harvey said he's not sure if the Steve Harvey Show would work today. “I don't want to see old Steve Hightower,” he told a journalist (Harvey turned 67 in January). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added.
Still hoping for a Steve Harvey Show movie?
In a recent interview, Wendy Raquel Robinson (who played Principal Regina Grier between 1997 and 2002) said she can't imagine a Steve Harvey Show reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star Steve Harvey has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Steve Harvey Show movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
What about a Steve Harvey Show reboot?
Recasting the Steve Harvey Show for a modern reboot. Hollywood is known for remaking remakes of films or tv series and the studios might think it would be great to bring the story back with a new set of characters.
