Rumors of a Una familia con suerte reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Wednesday (April 24) as reports claimed that Canal de las Estrellas confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2025.

Why in the world did Una familia con suerte end?
When Una familia con suerte came to an end after 2 years in February 2012, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Pina (Daniela Castro), Chela (Luz Elena González) and Rebe / Becky (Mayrín Villanueva). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.
Would an Una familia con suerte reunion disappoint people?
Una familia con suerte aired from 2011-2012 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But González said she's not sure if Una familia con suerte would work today. “I don't want to see old Chela,” she told a journalist (González turned 49 in August). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” she added.
Still hoping for an Una familia con suerte movie?
In a recent interview, Maribel Guardia (who played Bella) said she can't imagine an Una familia con suerte reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”
Co-star Luz Elena González has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did an Una familia con suerte movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”
On the subject of whether there could be an Una familia con suerte film, Cecilia Galliano stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
