When Melrose Place 2009 came to an end after 1 year in April 2010, million viewers tuned in to say goodbye to Violet Foster (Ashlee Simpson), August Kirkpatrick (Colin Egglesfield), Riley Richmond (Jessica Lucas), Ella Simms (Katie Cassidy), Jonah Miller (Michael Rady), David Breck (Shaun Sipos) and Lauren Yung (Stephanie Jacobsen). And since then, they have been itching for a reunion.

Would a Melrose Place 2009 reunion disappoint people?

Melrose Place 2009 aired from 2009-2010 and is considered one of the most influential TV shows ever on pop culture. Although no original episodes have been shot since, it has remained a regular feature on many station's schedules. But Sipos said he's not sure if Melrose Place 2009 would work today. “I don't want to see old David Breck,” he told a journalist (Sipos turned 38 in October). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added.

In a recent interview, Victor Webster (who played Caleb Brewer in 2009) said he can't imagine a Melrose Place 2009 reunion hitting the big screen. “I'd rather people go, ‘Oh, please! Please!’ than ‘I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.’”

Co-star Nick Zano (who played Drew Pragin in 2010) has also previously explained, “It would be terrible to do something and have it not be good,”. “It was so terrific ... If we did a Melrose Place 2009 movie and it sucked, then it would, you know, blemish it.”

On the subject of whether there could be a Melrose Place 2009 film, Stephanie Jacobsen stated : “I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.”
