Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lily Tomlin, 84, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Malibu Country or The West Wing really single again?

Tomlin spotted alone

A fan spotted Lily Tomlin walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 24, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lily back on the market?

A rep for Lily Tomlin was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
