Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Adele, 37, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Someone like You or Rolling in the Deep really single again?

Adele spotted alone

A fan spotted Adele walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Adele back on the market?

A rep for Adele was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
