Alain Delon died in Douchy-Montcorbon on July 18, 2024 at the age of 88. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Born Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon in Sceaux on November 8, 1935, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Delon was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 1970 he touched the hearts of millions as Roch Siffredi in ‘Borsalino’. His legacy will continue to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
Although Alain Delon is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
