It has been exactly 4 long years since ‘Asterix’ creator Albert Uderzo died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on March 24, 2020 at the age of 92. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed cartoonists of his generation.
Today, fans of Albert Uderzo along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Born in Fismes on April 25, 1927, Albert Uderzo's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Uderzo was not just a great cartoonist, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
