Is the 58-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Alejandra Guzmán, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Te Esperaba really single again?

Guzmán spotted alone

A fan spotted Alejandra Guzmán walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Alejandra back on the market?

A rep for Alejandra Guzmán was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
