Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Alice Krige, 71, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Silent Hill, Star Trek: First Contact or Chariots of Fire really single again?

Krige spotted alone

A fan spotted Alice Krige walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 24, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Alice back on the market?

A rep for Alice Krige was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (April 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
