Is the 71-year-old director officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Allison Anders, 71, and her partner had split up. Is the director best known for the movie Four Rooms really single again?

Anders spotted alone

A fan spotted Allison Anders walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Allison back on the market?

A rep for Allison Anders was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the director - known for having been romantically involved with Quentin Tarantino - was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
