Is the 53-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Allison Moorer, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song A Soft Place to Fall really single again?

Moorer spotted alone

A fan spotted Allison Moorer walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 23, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Allison back on the market?

A rep for Allison Moorer was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (December 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
