Is the 40-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Amanda Seyfried, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Big Love, Nine Lives or Mean Girls really single again?

Seyfried spotted alone

A fan spotted Amanda Seyfried walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Amanda back on the market?

A rep for Amanda Seyfried was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Dominic Cooper or Josh Hartnett - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (March 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
