Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Amel Bent, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Ma philosophie really single again?

Bent spotted alone

A fan spotted Amel Bent walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 24, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Amel back on the market?

A rep for Amel Bent was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Saturday (April 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
