Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Amy Grant, 65, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Baby Baby, The Next Time I Fall or El Shaddai really single again?

Grant spotted alone

A fan spotted Amy Grant walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 30, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Amy back on the market?

A rep for Amy Grant was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (December 31), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
