Is the 38-year-old tennis player officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Angelique Kerber, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the German tennis player really single again?

Kerber spotted alone

A fan spotted Angelique Kerber walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Angelique back on the market?

A rep for Angelique Kerber was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
