Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Anna Kendrick, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Twilight Saga, Pitch Perfect or Up in the Air really single again?

Kendrick spotted alone

A fan spotted Anna Kendrick walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Anna back on the market?

A rep for Anna Kendrick was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Jake Gyllenhaal or Edgar Wright - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
