Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Anna Sawai, 33, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Shogun really single again?

Sawai spotted alone

A fan spotted Anna Sawai walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 28, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Anna back on the market?

A rep for Anna Sawai was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (April 29), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
