Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Annie Murphy, 39, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Schitt's Creek really single again?

Murphy spotted alone

A fan spotted Annie Murphy walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 19, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Annie back on the market?

A rep for Annie Murphy was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (May 20), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
