Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, 54, and her partner had split up. Is the Spanish tennis player really single again?

Sánchez Vicario spotted alone

A fan spotted Arantxa Sánchez Vicario walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 26, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Arantxa back on the market?

A rep for Arantxa Sánchez Vicario was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Sunday (September 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
