Is the 60-year-old journalist officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ariane Massenet, 60, and her partner had split up. Is the former host of ‘La Matinale’ really single again?

Massenet spotted alone

A fan spotted Ariane Massenet walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ariane back on the market?

A rep for Ariane Massenet was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the journalist was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
