Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ashleigh Barty, 30, and her partner had split up. Is the Australian tennis player really single again?

Barty spotted alone

A fan spotted Ashleigh Barty walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ash back on the market?

A rep for Ashleigh Barty was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Monday (August 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
