Remembering Audrey Hepburn, 31 Years Later

It has been exactly 31 long years since Audrey Hepburn died in Tolochenaz on January 20, 1993 at the age of 63. As a number of online tributes attest, she was one of the most acclaimed actresses of her generation.

Today, fans of Audrey Hepburn (Roman Holiday, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic woman she was.

Hepburn, a cultural icon

Born in Ixelles on May 4, 1929, Audrey Hepburn's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in British history. Hepburn was not just a great actress, she was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1953 she touched the hearts of millions as Princess Ann in ‘Roman Holiday’. Her legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering her unique heritage.

It's been 31 years since the tragic loss of Audrey Hepburn and her personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Audrey Hepburn is no longer physically here, her presence is more powerful than ever. She left a void that has yet to be filled.
