Is the 56-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Aunjanue Ellis, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Mentalist, The Help or Undercover Brother really single again?

Ellis spotted alone

A fan spotted Aunjanue Ellis walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Aunjanue back on the market?

A rep for Aunjanue Ellis was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (January 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
