It has been exactly 6 long years since Avicii died in Muscat on April 20, 2018 at the age of 28. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed djs of his generation.
Today, fans of Avicii (Wake Me Up, Levels, ...) along with the rest of the music world have been remembering the iconic man he was.
Bergling, a cultural icon
Born in Stockholm on September 8, 1989, Avicii's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in Swedish history. Bergling was not just a great dj, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 2013 he touched the hearts of millions with ‘Wake Me Up’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique musical heritage.
It's been 6 years since the tragic loss of Avicii and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Avicii is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
