Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Axelle Red, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Manhattan-Kaboul, Parce que c'est toi or Sensualité really single again?

Axelle Red spotted alone

A fan spotted Axelle Red walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 24, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Axelle back on the market?

A rep for Axelle Red was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (February 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
