Is the 84-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Barbra Streisand, 84, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her roles in Meet the Fockers or A Star Is Born and best known for her hit song Woman in Love really single again?

Streisand spotted alone

A fan spotted Barbra Streisand walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 17, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Barbra back on the market?

A rep for Barbra Streisand was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Ryan O'Neal or Warren Beatty - was splitting hit the internet Monday (May 18), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
