Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Belén Rueda, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Orphanage or The Sea Inside really single again?

Rueda spotted alone

A fan spotted Belén Rueda walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 26, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Belén back on the market?

A rep for Belén Rueda was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (April 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
