Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Bonnie Raitt, 76, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like I Can't Make You Love Me or Something to Talk About really single again?

Raitt spotted alone

A fan spotted Bonnie Raitt walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Bonnie back on the market?

A rep for Bonnie Raitt was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
