Sad news for Marquardt fans. Speculation had been rife that the American model best known for her role on the television series The Girls Next Door, is about to announce her retirement from modelling, at age 51, with immediate effect.

Other reports hinted that she may branch out into other creative fields she is better at (and more interested in), though they didn't provide any details.
