Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Brody Dalle, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her album Diploid Love really single again?

Dalle spotted alone

A fan spotted Brody Dalle walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 1, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Brody back on the market?

A rep for Brody Dalle was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (February 2), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
