Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Candela Peña, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role in All About My Mother really single again?

Peña spotted alone

A fan spotted Candela Peña walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 24, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Candela back on the market?

A rep for Candela Peña was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (February 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
