Is the 79-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Candice Bergen, 79, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Bride Wars, Boston Legal, Sex and the City: The Movie or Miss Congeniality really single again?

Bergen spotted alone

A fan spotted Candice Bergen walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Candice back on the market?

A rep for Candice Bergen was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
