Is the 75-year-old princess officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Carmen Martínez-Bordiú, 75, and her partner had split up. Is the Spanish princess really single again?

Martínez-Bordiú spotted alone

A fan spotted Carmen Martínez-Bordiú walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 29, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Carmen back on the market?

A rep for Carmen Martínez-Bordiú was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the princess was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 30), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
