Is the 58-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Carrie Preston, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Good Wife, True Blood or Claws really single again?

Preston spotted alone

A fan spotted Carrie Preston walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Carrie back on the market?

A rep for Carrie Preston was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
